Wilson/Lebanon: Lebanon Gas Department Begins Infrastructure Replace Project July 6

Beginning July 6, 2026, the City of Lebanon Gas Department will begin a natural gas infrastructure replacement project on-

  • Castle Heights Avenue between Main Street and Frankland Road.
  • Indian Hills Road and Cherokee Drive from Blair Lane to Hiawatha

This project will include replacing existing gas mains and individual service lines and is expected to take up to four months to complete.

Our crews will work to minimize disruptions throughout the project. However, when your individual service line is replaced, it will be necessary to temporarily interrupt your natural gas service. Customers affected by a service interruption will be notified in advance whenever possible.

If you are not home when your service is interrupted, please do not worry. Our technicians will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to restore your service and relight appliances at a time that is convenient for you.

During construction, you may experience:

  • Temporary lane closures and traffic delays.
  • Construction equipment and personnel working in the area.
  • Temporary interruptions to natural gas service during service replacement activities.
  • Restoration work following construction.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these improvements. This project will enhance the safety and reliability of the natural gas system serving your neighborhood for many years to come.

If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact the City of Lebanon Gas Department at 615-443-2835.
