Warren/McMinnville: Police looking for suspect in shooting

 As of the posting of this information, law enforcement officers are still searching for for John Medley. If you live in the area of Dogwood Pointe, please be on the lookout for him. He was seen in the area beginning at 5:00 a.m. this morning, and may still be in or around the area. Please check your cameras if you have them on your property. The picture of Medley is a previous picture, and does not represent what he was last seen wearing. During the early morning hours of May 26, 2026, Warren County deputies were dispatched to an address located on Underwood Road to investigate an altercation that had occurred, resulting in the victim being shot one time. Deputies arrived to find that the victim had been transported by private vehicle to River Park Hospital, and the shooter had left the scene. The investigation revealed that the shooter is a 16-year-old white, male, identified as John Medley. At the time of the shooting, Medley was wearing tan shorts, a tee shirt of unknown color, and a red beanie with marijuana leaves.
