Just because a product is legally sold to adults does not mean it is safe for children.
Products marketed as Cat’s Claw may appeal to young people because of their packaging, availability, or claims about their effects. However, these products can pose serious health risks, particularly when their ingredients are unknown, undisclosed, or not what consumers expect.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has warned about products containing MGM-15 and 7-OH, which are kratom-derived compounds, that may not be clearly disclosed on product labels. Certain products associated with this initiative have raised serious safety concerns, including reports of deaths in Tennessee.
Parents, take time to talk with your children about what they see online, what their friends may be using, and the dangers of experimenting with these products. Remind them that a product being legally sold does not mean it is harmless.
