South Jackson Community Playhouse is excited to announce the auditions for the stage production of Inherit the Wind. Brought to you as a part of our America 250 Celebration highlighting the State of Tennessee. Performance dates Sept 17-20.

A description of several of the characters - people may be asked to play more than one role; some roles may be filled by ensemble. The approximate age of a character should not be taken literally for inclusion or exclusion if a performer can handle the part.

Performers should pick two and be familiar with them to do a reading at auditions.
In addition to the monologues included, those auditioning may prepare a monologue of their own choosing less than 5 minutes in length. This is not a requirement.
Those who have not sung for the director before and want to be considered for singing ensemble parts can prepare a verse of any song to share acapella.
