On Thursday, September 18, 2025, officers with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence located at 4171 Old Smithville Road following information that the resident, Terry Brian McCormick, a convicted felon for prior felony drug offenses, may be in possession of illegal controlled substances.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Mr. McCormick. During the search of his residence, they discovered two bags of methamphetamine, a sawed-off Remington shotgun with two rounds of ammunition attached, two marijuana grow tents equipped with lights and containing multiple plants believed to be marijuana. Mr. McCormick also disclosed the presence of two mason jars containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, along with a black box holding drug paraphernalia. Also multiple items of drug paraphernalia, including pipes, a grinder, plates and baggies were found.
Mr. McCormick was placed into custody at the scene. During transport, he admitted to having an additional small baggie of methamphetamine on his person, which was also seized. He was transported to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office for booking.
