Wilson/Lebanon: Police Apprehend Nashville Homicide Suspect

Lebanon Police assist in the arrest of a 18-year-old wanted for criminal homicide in Nashville.

Monday night, after receiving information from Metro Nashville Police regarding a vehicle connected to a recent homicide, a Lebanon Emergency Services Unit officer located the vehicle traveling westbound on I-40 and conducted a traffic stop for speeding. During the stop, MNPD detectives confirmed that the homicide suspect was indeed in Lebanon.

Lebanon’s Criminal Investigations Division worked with MNPD to secure a search warrant for an apartment in the Rollingwood Apartment Community. Officers from D-Shift and our Special Operations Division assisted MNPD’s TITANS Unit in executing the warrant.

18-year-old Zachary Spitaliere, of Old Hickory, was located at the residence and was arrested without incident. He was charged with Criminal Homicide in connection with the July 14th fatal shooting of Jeremiah Brown that occurred in Antioch.
